ASE notifies students of acceptance by phone.

All applicants notified confirming acceptance or expressing regrets.

Orientations for accepted students and their parents.

Most apprenticeships begin!

July 11-12, 2008 
Midsummer Conference, Oregon State University, Corvallis - required event for apprentices.  This is a two day, one overnight event.  Apprentices are housed and fed in dorms at OSU. ASE staff and Teacher Monitors chaperone.  Portland area apprentices will be able to ride a bus to and from Corvallis.  Other apprentices who live more than 100 miles from Corvallis will have the option to ride to and from the conference with Teacher Monitors.

August 16, 2008
Symposium, University of Portland, Portland - required event for apprentices; mentors, parents and general public invited. This is a one day event.

August 29, 2008
Most apprenticeships completed.
