ACT Preparation
The ACT is a widely accepted college entrance exam. Many students may excel on the ACT since it more closely aligns with school curriculum, testing, reading, math, science, and English, with an optional writing portion.
SAT Preparation
The SAT Preparation Class is designed to prepare you for the entire SAT test - math, critical reading & writing.
SAT Preparation classes are offered at several different times throughout the year. We offer classes in March/April, July/August and September/October. Classes are for students entering grades 11 - 12 and tuition is $355 (includes books). Tuition assistance is available for qualified applicants. All classes meet 5 times for 3 hours, 1 1/2 hours for verbal and 1 1/2 hours for math at each session. One session will meet for an extra hour to allow for extra time for the essay portion of the exam.Grades 11 - 12
Maximum Math for the SAT
Are you shooting for a Math SAT score of 700 or more? Join a class geared to students who want to practice the more difficult problems found on the SATs to optimize their chances of a high score. Grades 11 - 12.
SAT: Writing & Essay Prep
Get ready for the writing section of the SAT exam. This class is for students who want extra help preparing for the writing section. To prepare, you will practice writing the timed 25-minute essay, receive a score based on SAT standards, and get feedback on how to improve your essay. Grade 11-12
Study Smart: Memory Skills
In this workshop, practice techniques that can enhance your ability to remember. You will learn how to apply memory strategies to your studies and test-taking, increasing your rapid recall and decreasing your study time.
Study Smart: Speed Reading
Increase both your reading speed and comprehension of the material you're reading. On the SAT, speed matters. If you can read and comprehend the questions quicker, you have a better chance of completing all the questions.
