Open Seats
You'll notice that on our lists of classes that under the "Open Seats" column there are several different codes used that indicate the availability of the class. Here is what they mean:
A number: This indicates the number of spaces available in the class.
Full: The class is full at this time. Please see "Waiting List" information below.
CC: Class has been canceled.
Waiting List
The class that you want to take is full. So what do you do now? Send in an application anyway so that we can add you to the waiting list. It is always a good idea to go on the waiting list.
Why?
- People cancel out of classes (especially in the summer!)
- If we have enough interest, and an instructor available to teach, we may open up a new section of a class. Those who are on the waiting list for the class that is full will be called first.
- You are under no obligation to take a space if one becomes available
How do I get added to the waiting list?
Simply mail, fax, or email a registration form just like you would if you were enrolling in a class that wasn't full. Please send payment information with your form. This way, if space becomes available and you want to be enrolled in the class, we already have payment information ready to go. If you need tuition assistance, please check the appropriate box and input your information.
If space becomes available in a class, we will contact you to find out if you want the open space. If you do, we will charge your credit card or cash your check at that time. If you do not want the available space, we will not charge you for the class.
