Academy in the News
Society of Women Engineers - April 2010 Newsletter
Two of my fellow SWE’ers, Nikki Jones and Shelly Welke, and I, had the opportunity to attend a luncheon for Saturday Academy (SA) on March 11. Alexis Bruemmer, who is featured in this newsletter and also the Development Chair on the SA Board of Directors, invited us to participate. We joined her and a host of other women engineers from IBM for some networking and an opportunity to learn more about the SA organization. What a perfect opportunity to start thinking about how SWE Columbia River Section might collaborate and create a partnership with SA through our engineering ties! Read the full article here.
