Sharon Ross works for the State of Oregon, Radiation Protection Services as Incident Commander for the Radiological Emergency Response Team (RERT). The RERT responds to emergencies at the Columbia Generating Station (CGS) to provide technical assistance and protect the well-being of citizens in the state of Oregon.
When she's not in the office, she is a public speaker and presenter promoting emergency preparedness at home. In addition, She is the founder of deCamp Outdoors, an online preparedness and outdoor camp for people who want to learn how to prepare and survive a catastrophic disaster.
Sharon began teaching for Saturday Academy in 2018, and is currently available to teach mid-week or on weekends.
