Learn the basics of video editing as you help create a documentary short that explores the history of pollution and the $1 billion clean-up happening on the banks of the Willamette River. You will work with professional editing software (Adobe Premiere) and learn the basic concepts of video editing as you incorporate interviews, raw footage, historical photos, audio, and music into a compelling story. At the end of the week you will get to watch and share your finished documentary film.
The workshop will be lead by Portland film-makers from NW Documentary. Note, this camp has been combined with Part I: Footage and will now include aspects of editing and footage. Students may choose focus on one or both depending on their interests.
