Julia Soto joined Saturday Academy in 2013 after almost a decade of work as an engineer. She has a BS (Lehigh University) and MS (Washington State University), both in Materials Science and Engineering as well as a BA in English. In her time as a student, she completed a number of internships and as a professional, supported many interns.
As the ASE Program Director, Julia enjoys networking and connecting with current and potential mentors for the ASE Program. She is proud to support high school students in experiencing science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) careers, and even more so, to break down the barriers for adults about what motivated, young people are capable of accomplishing.
