Learn and experiment with formatting options to improve the appearance and enhance the meaning of your analysis. Become familiar with basic functions and formulas, as well as tips and tricks, that will help you understand the power of designing calculation. Use your skills from this course to prepare you for the next in the series “Charts, Tables, and More Functions”. A FREE online text will be available for download, as well as parallel instructions for using Google Sheets. Students will need access to Microsoft Excel 365, 2016, or 2019 software, Acrobat Reader (free download), word processing software, and internet access.
Comic Book & Graphic Novel (Grades 6-8)
From saga to small press, make your comic.
Comic storytelling combines both writing and drawing to tell tales that span every conceivable genre. Create your very own comic that tells a unique, interesting and personal story. Employ the techniques of professional cartoonists to tell your story, from conception to final product. You will learn to design pages that engage readers using both words and art. Students need only paper and pencils, although drawing pens and rulers are optional.
Other classes in college prep, science, coding, writing and math will follow soon!
