This two-week intensive workshop introduces you to the central concepts of a full-year calculus course prior to the start of your school year. Work in teams to solve engaging, relevant problems designed to reveal the big ideas behind core calculus topics: definition of limits, continuous and discontinuous functions, instantaneous rate of change, definition of the derivative and definite integrals and area under a curve. Leverage your prior work, understanding and success in math. Optional practice problems are provided to students after each class.
Students will need access to a computer, webcam, and internet. They will meet electronically using an online platform called Moodle. Login instructions and a supply list (if any) will be sent to the email address associated with the account in advance of the class start date. For questions related to supplies or if you need technical assistance including accessing required equipment or the internet please call 503-200-5858 or email email@example.com
