Strengthen your photographic skills by learning the art of post-processing in the digital darkroom. Spend time making fresh photos around town or even in your own backyard, then head into the digital darkroom to process, and enhance your photos. Learn how to import photos, edit for exposure, contrast, color correction in Adobe Lightroom Classic. Discover organization and keywording methods which will improve efficiency and ease in the digital darkroom. Master best practices for saving and exporting your photos for printing & online use.
Any camera is acceptable for this class. If using a phone please bring the proper cord to upload photos and or know how to log into your iCloud account to download your photos from your device to the computer. Plan on taking some notes too.
Students will need access to a computer, webcam, and internet. They will meet electronically using an online platform called Moodle. Login instructions and a supply list (if any) will be sent to the email address associated with the account in advance of the class start date. Required Software: Specifically for this class students will need access to Lightroom Classic in Adobe Creative Cloud. Install packages will be sent out prior to class. Please make sure that your computer meets the minimum requirements to run Adobe Lightroom. Note: Chromebooks are not usable for this class since they do not meet the minimum hardware requirements.
This call will also use a Zoom link within the Moodle platform.
Recommended Supplies: Student will also need paper and pencil to take notes during class.
