Focus on creative writing and "creative reading" within the world around us. Nature, media, current events, myth, personal narrative, language play, and music, will inspired our connection and understanding of selves. In this class, students use poetry, short essay, and journaling to sharpen reading, discussion, editing, and writing ability. Students will explore identity, community, social justice, as well as "unburying" our own stories that make us native to place.
Students will need access to a computer, webcam, and internet. They will meet electronically using an online platform called Moodle. Login instructions will be sent to the email address associated with the account in advance of the class start date.
