Learn about college selection, careers in STEM, and the ASE Symposium

Saturday Academy Apprenticeship in Science & Engineering Program interns in 2019

The ASE Midsummer Conference is a chance for ASE interns to learn about college preparation, diverse career paths, and how to get ready for the ASE Symposium on August 11th.

This is a required event for all ASE interns.

AGENDA

8:00-8:20: Welcome and icebreakers

8:20-9:10: How to Prepare for Symposium, led by Teacher Monitor Stacey Johnson

9:10-9:15: Bio break and transition to breakout rooms

9:15-10:15: Career Panels in breakout rooms

         Panel 1: Biological, Environmental, and Medical Sciences

         Panel 2: Computer Science and Technology

         Panel 3: Engineering and Design 

10:15-10:30: Break

10:30-12:00: College Decisions Panel led by OSU faculty and students
