Entertainment for the Night
Courtney Freed will be joining us again for our 2026 Soiree!
For over twenty years, Courtney has been captivating audiences with a voice that critics have called "effervescent," "breathtaking," and "a whirlwind of excitement." An established jazz vocalist and songwriter based in Portland, she has built a reputation as one of the Pacific Northwest's most dynamic performers, equally at home delivering a sultry standard, belting a Queen anthem, or unveiling an original that cuts straight to the heart.
Courtney's repertoire spans the Great American Songbook, swing, bossa nova, and jazz-influenced originals. She performs in a variety of configurations, from intimate voice-and-piano duo to her swinging five-piece band, The Courtney Freed Five.
Her theatrical tribute Mercury Rising, a jazz-infused celebration of Freddie Mercury, has played to acclaim at theaters including Artists Repertory Theater, The Jack London Revue, and Oregon Cabaret Theater in Ashland.
We’re thrilled to have Courtney joining us again!
