The Apprenticeships in Science and Engineering (ASE) Symposium is the culminating learning event of the summer. We will open the Symposium with a Keynote Address given by a prominent Portland STEAM Professional (TBA). Then ASE Interns will give 10-12 minute oral presentations about their summer internship to small audiences of their fellow interns, mentors, and families, who will have the opportunity to ask questions about their projects and conclusions.
We will close the Symposium with a Reception to celebrate the accomplishments of this year's ASE Cohort, and to thank mentors and host organizations for making the internships possible.
This is a required event for all ASE interns. Mentors, family members, and community guests are encouraged to attend.
