Calling all student artists, makers, creators, and doers!

Saturday Academy is hosting a Maker’s Market on Saturday, September 19!
Portland is full of incredible talent. Let’s come together as a community to support emerging makers and artists! This event is designed to uplift and celebrate the next generation by providing space to share their work with a broader audience.
This Makers Market is an opportunity for any student in grades 1-12 to create, craft, draw, make, paint, and more — and then showcase their work while also selling it at the market. Whether you’re an experienced maker and market-goer or this is your first time, we’ll be there to support your creative process, help spread the word about your participation, and assist you in selling your creations to the public.
Applying to be a vendor is free. We’ll provide a table for you to display your work, and you’ll keep all the money that you make that day. We will require each vendor to create one item, inspired by a prompt, in their own style. If sold, proceeds from that item go directly to supporting Saturday Academy’s mission to spark curiosity, connect our community, and empower students to become the innovative thinkers and problem solvers of the next generation.
