ASE Lunch and Learn - Dr. Banafsheh Rekabdar, PSU Computer Science

Dr. Rekabdar’s research interests are artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning. Her research has led to a series of papers published in a range of competitive journals and conferences including IJCAI, Neurocomputing, Neural Computing and Applications, Neural Processing Letters, IEEE VR, EuroVR, IROS, HRI, RSS. While obtaining her Ph.D. from University of Nevada, Reno she won many awards, including 2016 outstanding computer science and engineering thesis of the year, 2016 graduate student association research paper competition, 2015 outstanding computer science and engineering graduate student, and outstanding international graduate student in 2014 and 2015. She will discuss the Current State of Artificial Intelligence.
