Virtual ASE Intern Orientation

Interns are given a professional skills training to get them ready for their ASE internship experience.
May 26, 2022 - 6:00pm
Saturday Academy giving a presentation to ASE students

Before ASE internships begin, interns participate in an orientation with the ASE staff.  Orientation is a chance for you to learn more about the upcoming experiences with the ASE Program this summer.  Orientation is designed to facilitate a successful internship experience for all participants.

Guest Speaker: Dani Gehm, National Marketing Manager, ChickTech

Dani Gehm (she/her) is a Portland creative and former ASE intern with a passion for accessibility and diversity. Her background in nonprofit brand management, design, and communications is informed by consistent education and activism in social justice issues. She currently works as the National Marketing Manager for ChickTech, a non-profit dedicated to helping people of marginalized genders find and follow their passions in tech. Outside of work, Dani enjoys playing video games, pampering her pets and plants, and roaming the Pacific Northwest with her partner.

Location: Link to join Orientation will be sent directly to interns.
