Adam Nelson leads the technology function at Stoel Rives, and has been with the firm for 10 years. As CIO of a national law firm, Adam and his team are responsible for ensuring the firm’s attorneys and staff have the technologies they need to securely and reliably serve the firm’s clients any time and from anywhere. From datacenter infrastructure and business continuity, to data architecture and Business Intelligence, to user adoption and organizational leadership (and more frequently with a heavy dose of AI sprinkled on top), Adam’s day requires a broad range of up to the minute knowledge and abilities. Outside of work, Adam enjoys spending time with his family, travel, kayaking, and playing trumpet, and he earned his bachelor’s degree in Technology Management at George Fox.
