Become a conservation biologist in your local community. Learn from a PhD biodiversity scientist how biologists study plants and animals and monitor their responses to human impacts. Collect research-quality data about local plant and animal species, contribute your data to the online database iNaturalist, and meet some of the scientists who use those data to understand the problems facing species around the world. Explore solutions to those problems and research a thoughtful plan to help conserve a species of your choice.
