Investigate the central concepts of geometry. Work on cleverly crafted problems designed to reveal the concepts behind core geometry topics: triangles and the Pythagorean theorem; similarity; trigonometry; polygons; circles; area and volume. Learn Geometer’s Sketchpad to explore Euclidean principles. Advanced problems help cut through complex concepts. Optional practice problems are provided to interested students after each class. This intensive class introduces you to the core geometry concepts, and all students are encouraged to bring their current work and questions to this cooperative setting for guidance.
