Harness the power of design and emerging technologies such as Internet-connected devices (the Internet of Things, or IoT), wearable tech and big data to design solutions that improve the lives of people living with or caring for those with chronic illness. Hear from real people about living with this disease, research new technologies that have the potential to radically change today's solutions, design and create conceptual models and storyboard of your solutions and pitch your design to healthcare experts and real users. Will your team's design become the latest innovation that helps people track their medications or monitor blood sugar? Offered in partnership with the Health Technology Collaborative. Some teams may be invited to continue beyond this workshop to refine their design and create technical prototypes under the guidance of the Health Technology Collaborative.
