See yourself as a future health care professional? Join us for a week of exploring the many careers available in the field of health care. Learn what it’s like to be a physician, nurse, pharmacist, biomedical researcher and allied health professional such as a medical technician or physical therapist. This action-packed week will include presentations and hands-on workshops with health care professionals, scientists and community experts. Workshops may include eye and brain dissections, how to take a medical history, learning how discoveries become treatments, design workshops to improve patient experience and much more. Some activities may vary based on the availability of professionals.
This camp will take place Monday - Thursday at OHSU and will take place at the Oregon National Primate Research Center (ONPRC) on Friday. Specific drop off directions, and/or room location will be provided prior to the camp start. Both of these locations require students to be fully vaccinated and show proof of vaccination.
We are committed to making it possible for all students to participate in classes regardless of financial circumstances. Class tuition is charged on a sliding scale based on annual household income and family size. There is no application. Click here to learn more about Tuition Assistance.
