In this class, taught by women pilots, learn the aerodynamic principles and skills that pilots use to safely maneuver their planes on the ground and in the sky. Discover the fundamentals of aviation through aerodynamics, communications, navigations and charts, weather, and a virtual preflight. Engage in a question and answer session with aviation professionals.
This class is for students who identify as female or non-binary.
Students will need access to a computer, webcam, and internet. They will meet electronically using an online platform called Moodle. Login instructions will be sent to the email address associated with the account in advance of the class start date.
