    The Importance of Summer Learning and STEAM Exploration for Young Adults

    Summer months for many young students means a time away from the rigors of homework and school projects. That was hardly the case for my siblings and myself. If anything, my father made sure that before summer break started, all four kids were enrolled in a camp or a classroom program that gave us a head start to learn the concepts for the following school year’s curriculum.

    Today we are featuring one of our dedicated volunteers, Brian Hamilton! Brian started volunteering with us in 2017 and has been supporting us ever since. This is Brian’s second spotlight on our blog because his dedication to our work has meant so much to us over the years. Brian is a great asset to Saturday Academy and is always willing to assist the staff with various tasks throughout the year.
