Kyla Nix (she/her) is an educator and graduate student in Special Education who is passionate about creating engaging, inclusive learning experiences for all students. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Washington State University and holds an endorsements in English Language Learner (ELL), English Language Arts (ELA), and Visual Arts Education.
Kyla has experience working with students in classrooms, after-school programs, and STEM enrichment settings, and enjoys helping students make meaningful connections between what they learn and the world around them. She especially loves incorporating art, creativity, and design into learning, encouraging students to explore new ideas, solve problems, and express themselves in unique ways.
Kyla is excited to spend the summer helping campers build confidence, discover their interests, and engage in hands-on STEM and creative learning experiences.
