Lori Squire is a freelance bookkeeper specializing in small businesses and nonprofit organizations. She
brings a well-rounded experience to bookkeeping, shaped by her various careers including in operations,
product management, purchasing, and IT. This multidisciplinary background allows her to help clients
structure and maintain streamlined books and processes that support day-to-day operations and long-
term planning. Lori provides consistent, detail-oriented bookkeeping utilizing best-practices, and her
work ensures clean, audit-ready and tax-ready books.
Born and raised in Oregon, Lori graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in Business
Operations. She began her career as a Cost Accountant and spent more than 15 years in the corporate
world in various functions before taking time off to raise her now college-aged children. She returned to
school to deepen her expertise in financial accounting and from there launched her own bookkeeping
practice.
In her free time, Lori enjoys reading, crafting across many mediums, walking in nature, and listening to
her wonderfully talkative kids share their insights on life and the world.
