
Macaela LaPorte holds a B.A. in Business and Sustainability with a minor in Environmental Policy from Western Washington University. She found her passion for education through an internship with the Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association, where she taught students about salmon habitats and their current impacts. Macaela is passionate about connecting kids to science and the environment.
Macaela grew up in Chelan, WA, and has lived all over the Pacific Northwest. She now lives in Beaverton. She is passionate about the arts, having participated in them for most of her life. In her free time, she loves to get outdoors, create arts and crafts, and read.
