Madi Quinton is a University of Portland junior studying Integrative Health and Wellness with a minor in Education, while also pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching. With a strong academic focus on health and the human body, she is passionate about making biomedical concepts engaging, relevant, and accessible for her students.
As both a Division I women's rowing athlete and a middle school sports coach, Madi brings energy, discipline, and a team-centered mindset into her teaching. She emphasized hands-on, real-world learning so that students are encouraged to stay curious and build confidence in understanding complex scientific ideas. Madi believes that health education should empower students to make informed decisions and see the connection between science and their everyday lives. Supporting students as they grow in both knowledge and confidence is what drives her commitment to teaching.
