For 42 years, Saturday Academy has been partnering with schools to inspire students to deepen their identity, connect community, and increase global awareness through fun and safe after-school programming. We provide the curriculum, supplies, technology, and the educator—making it easy to link STEAM to your school through Saturday Academy.
By linking up with Saturday Academy you ensure inspiration is at the center of your K-8 grade after-school learning.
Designed to introduce and deepen students’ understanding and confidence in a wide range of STEAM subjects, students take as many curricular links as they’d like experiencing the joy of learning that builds upon itself!

“Get involved, especially if you're in a position similar to me — another site coordinator, someone else who's thinking of partnering with Saturday Academy. We have one student who has been talking about wanting to work with Scratch and I'm super psyched that we finally got a class for him and that we're going to be able to nurture that with Saturday Academy's help.”
Link-Up and Partner
Select from the following:
- SA solicits these twice a year — once in Spring (May) for Fall and Winter Terms and once in the Fall (October) for Winter and Spring Terms.
- SA reviews the partnership requests on an ongoing basis and will notify Link.ed partners in June of participation in Fall/Winter and in November for Winter/Spring.
- Saturday Academy will then generate a Link.ed proposal for partnership.
- If at any time you have questions, email youthprograms@saturdayacademy.org
- Links run for eight to twelve weeks, meeting once a week for one to two hours per session.
- Links run on a semester basis in Fall, Winter, and Spring.
- Partnerships are designed to involve a minimum two-semester commitment to a school for deeper learning.
Organization/School Model
- We believe in removing barriers to hands-on, experiential learning. To support this, we offer a sliding scale model that provides programming at low to no cost for schools in Title 1 districts, priority neighborhoods, and community centers.
- As a firm believer that all children should have access to STEAM learning, Link.ed offers a sliding scale tuition range for more resourced schools.
- Pricing per contact hour will be reflected in your offer and is paid in two installments to Saturday Academy by your school/organization: once at the program’s halfway point, and once upon completion.
- Supplies are included, although specialized classes may require additional materials or an equipment rental fee (see class descriptions for details).
- The organization’s facilitator is responsible for advertising the class and registering students, unless otherwise agreed upon. Saturday Academy is happy to provide registration assistance within reason.
