Saturday Academy Code of Conduct

We expect you to follow certain standards of conduct that protect the interest and safety of all employees, interns, volunteers and other associates of Saturday Academy. While it is impossible to list every action that is considered unacceptable conduct, the following represent examples. Employees who breach standards of conduct such as these may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

  • Theft or inappropriate removal or possession of property
  • Falsification of administrative records
  • Working under the influence of alcohol, marijuana or illegal drugs
  • Possession, distribution, sale, transfer, or use of alcohol, marijuana or illegal drugs while on duty
  • Negligence or improper conduct leading to damage of employer-owned or client-owned property
  • Insubordination or other disrespectful conduct
  • Smoking while on duty representing Saturday Academy 
  • Sexual or other unlawful or unwelcome harassment
  • Possession of dangerous or unauthorized materials, such as explosives or firearms, while on duty
  • Excessive absenteeism or absenteeism without notice
  • Unauthorized disclosure of confidential information or “trade secrets”
  • Unauthorized use of network, mail system, or other employer-owned equipment
  • Violation of organizational policies
