Students may:
- Tour a Foss tugboat.
- Don a survival suit and Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA).
- Participate in a controlled, hands-on “tank entry” workshop with a certified marine chemist, using atmospheric testing meters to determine the safety of an enclosed space, such as a cargo hold or ballast tank.
- Learn about weather and vessel monitoring at the Fleet Monitoring Center.
- Attend a career panel with professionals from various sectors at leading maritime companies.
