Agenda will include an introduction to the program, application requirements, the schedule for our free workshops, and a Q&A session.
Despite the uncertainties presented by COVID-19 and the unexpected need to transition to an online platform, 61 virtual internships provided STEM career opportunities for high school students across Oregon. Though it seemed impossible to virtually deliver the same quality apprenticeships that define the ASE program, this summer it proved not only to be possible but also deeply enriching for mentors and mentees alike.
The Apprenticeships in Science and Engineering (ASE) Symposium is the culminating learning event of the summer and enables the students to organize and synthesize their internship experiences. ASE interns present their work through 10-12 minute oral presentations.
The ASE Midsummer Conference is a chance for ASE interns to learn about college preparation, diverse career paths, and how to get ready for the ASE Symposium on August 11th.
This is a required event for all ASE interns.
LOCATION: Link to join Midsummer Conference sent directly to interns.
