We're excited to announce our Fall Classes for All Ages lineup for Fall 2023!
Get ready this fall for hands-on learning experiences designed to support the development of your children's Identity, Awareness, and Knowledge through Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics.
Our fall class offerings include Safari Dreamers (ages 3-5), where each class takes students to a different animal habitat on an imagination journey. Students explore unique environments, build language around animal science, and channel creative energies as a group. This class culminates in an open class session for families.
Science Explorers (grades k-2), enter our imagination lab to combine new and exciting ingredients together for dynamic reactions! As elements collide, our makers learn the fundamentals of science in worlds they invent. This intersectional class combines the skills of a scientist with those of an artist to generate what is sure to be the highlight of their week. This class culminates in a special sharing for families.
Animation Makers (grades 3-5), enter the world of story in this one-of-a-kind introduction to the fundamentals of animation. Utilizing a variety of methodologies, makers will create an original animated character, dig into the history of the artform, and play with the technological tools necessary to bring their character to life. Over the course of multiple weeks, students will examine the process of bringing an animated story to the screen and share their work with family and friends at the culmination of class.
STEAMscapes Creations (grades 6-8), ever wonder how a roller coaster is designed and works? How does that bridge become reality? This special class invites creators to dig into the spaces where physics, engineering, math and the arts come together to make our world more functional and fun! Through hands-on project based learning experiences with professionals in the field, this class will stretch the imagination and deepen your knowledge.
Careers in Science (grades 9-12), how do you turn an interest in the sciences into a career path? This workshops series sheds light on the diverse and wonderful occupations that are rooted in science. Each workshop features lecture, discussion, and activation!
