Andrew Li (he/him), who goes by Andy, is a Saturday Academy alumni who, through Saturday Academy, had the fantastic opportunity to learn and work at Black & Veatch, which deals with both electrical and civil engineering. During his internship, he learned how electricity works in buildings and how to make strong and safe structures.
Andy says, "This exciting experience made me even more passionate about STEM and ready to take on more adventures in the future!" Andy's philosophy is that everything in life is a marathon, not a sprint.
A fun fact about Andy: he used to be first chair clarinet in high school.
