Brenna Horner is an actor, educator, arts administrator, and 200-Hour Certified Yoga Instructor. With a background in creative dramatics and original play creation, she began teaching throughout the DC Metro Area in 2014, including at Round House Theatre, where she later became the full-time Education Associate. Following her time at RHT, she became Everyman Theatre's Lead Teaching Artist. There, she worked in curriculum development and programmatic support, teaching preschoolers, elementary, middle, and high school, as well as adults in Baltimore City and County, and beyond. She continues to freelance throughout the region with a focus on training adult actors, primarily at the collegiate level.
Brenna has been on stages in DC and Maryland as an actor, and has directed students of varying ages in productions throughout the area. She is the Board Vice President of Transformation Theatre and advocates for access to theatre to ignite connection across audiences.
She attended The University of Maryland, College Park, where she studied Communications before leaving to pursue Acting. She later attended The National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts where she completed their two-year training program. Beyond her professional life, her interests include renovating her midcentury home with her husband, travel, literature, live music, trying new vegan recipes, and rescuing dogs.
