Caren Graham has taught speech, drama and acting classes for Saturday Academy since 2007. She has a BS in Speech Communication from the University of Idaho and a MFA in Theatre from the University of Washington. Caren has worked with hundreds of students as a Teaching Artist for Young Audiences and the Right Brain Initiative integrating classroom curriculum with her art form.
She is a recipient of the Arts Educator of the year for Young Audiences of Oregon and Washington. Caren has taught for Cornish College of the Arts, University of Portland, Concordia and Mt. Hood Community College. She has performed and coached throughout the region for such theaters as Artists’ Repertory, Portland Center Stage, Portland Opera, Northwest Childrens’ Theater and others.
