The Apprenticeships in Science and Engineering (ASE) Symposium is the culminating learning event of the summer and enables the students to organize and synthesize their internship experiences. ASE interns present their work through 10-12 minute oral presentations.

ASE 2024 Midsummer Conference

The ASE Midsummer Conference is a chance for ASE interns to explore diverse career paths with specialists in their fields, get to know each other, and learn how to get ready for the ASE Symposium on August 15th. This is a required event for all ASE interns.

Before ASE internships begin, interns participate in an orientation with the ASE staff. Orientation is a chance for you to learn more about the upcoming experiences with the ASE Program this summer and to meet your intern cohort. Orientation is designed to facilitate a successful internship experience for all participants.
