Your Impact

How your support has impacted our programs!
A group of Saturday Academy students getting ready to race LEGO robot cars

Last year we provided over 37,000 hours of programming, the equivalent of 39 school years, to students in grades 2-12. We offered in person classes and expanded our virtual offerings, continuing to spark curiosity, foster exploration and build confidence in STEAM. We deepened our equity and inclusion practices, provided trauma-informed training for our instructors, increased net pay for student interns by 33% and launched a new career exploration and preparation program for applicants not selected for internships.

We grew our programming from 2020 levels, opening our doors wider to students who have not previously been able to access our programming. This year we are planning virtual classes for rural communities, evaluating simpler ways for students to access tuition assistance and offering multi-lingual recruitment materials for our internship program.

We can support students in these opportunities not offered at schools because of our wonderful community of instructors, mentors, assistants, volunteers, presenters, donors and board. Thank you for supporting Saturday Academy and students willing to go above and beyond!
